Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Allkirana platform. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. About Allkirana

Allkirana is an online grocery and daily essentials platform operated by Adi Bharat Innovations Private Limited (“ABIPL”), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956. Product manufacturing and testing activities are carried out by Adi Bharat E Tech (OPC) Private Limited (“ABETPL”), incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013.

Throughout these Terms, references to “Allkirana,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer collectively to ABIPL and/or ABETPL. References to “you,” “your,” or “User” refer to anyone accessing or using the platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the Allkirana platform — including its website (www.allkirana.com), subdomains, and mobile application — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws.

These Terms constitute a valid and binding electronic agreement under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Your continued use of the platform following any updates to these Terms will be deemed as acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Eligibility

To use the Allkirana platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian;
  • Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable Indian law;
  • Not be barred from using our services under any law or prior determination.

By using the platform, you represent and warrant that all of the above conditions are met.

4. Platform & Services

Allkirana enables registered users to browse, select, and order groceries and daily essentials for home delivery. Our core services include:

  • Online product browsing and purchase across multiple categories
  • Doorstep delivery to selected serviceable locations
  • Wallet-based payment and transaction management
  • Referral programs, cashback offers, and membership benefits

Service availability, product inventory, and delivery coverage may vary based on your location and operational conditions. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any service at our discretion without prior notice.

5. Orders & Payments

Placing an Order

An order is considered confirmed only after it has been successfully placed through the platform and you receive an order confirmation. Please review your cart thoroughly before proceeding to checkout, as confirmed orders constitute a binding commitment to purchase.

Wallet System

All transactions on Allkirana are processed via our in-platform wallet:

  • You must recharge your wallet before placing an order.
  • Payment is deducted upon successful delivery.
  • Transaction history is available within the platform for a limited duration. We recommend reviewing your statements regularly.

Pricing

All prices displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The final price shown at checkout is the amount you will be charged. In rare cases of technical or human error in pricing, we reserve the right to correct the price and notify you accordingly. Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 5–7 working days.

6. Delivery Policy

Coverage & Availability

Delivery is available only in selected serviceable areas. If your location is not serviceable, you will be notified during the checkout process.

Your Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth delivery experience, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete delivery address, contact number, and name.
  • Being available or accessible at the time of delivery.
  • Keeping a reusable bag accessible at your doorstep for delivery placement, if required.

Where a recipient is unavailable, items may be left at the doorstep at the delivery agent’s discretion. The Company is not liable for loss or damage to items left unattended under these circumstances.

Delivery Limitations & Delays

We strive to deliver on time; however, the Company shall not be held liable for delays caused by:

  • Adverse weather conditions or natural disasters
  • Strikes, civil disturbances, or logistical disruptions
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the user
  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any delay. However, the Company is under no obligation to provide compensation for delayed deliveries under such circumstances.

7. Cancellations & Returns

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before the applicable cutoff time as communicated on the platform. Subscription plans may be cancelled at any time through the platform or by contacting our support team.

For Fruits & Vegetables (FnV) orders: Refusal of delivery at the doorstep without prior cancellation may attract a ₹100 cancellation charge to cover logistics costs.

Returns & Replacements

We take product quality seriously. Returns and replacements are accepted in the following cases:

  • Damaged products: received in broken or unusable condition
  • Defective products: not functioning as described
  • Expired products: past their best-before or use-by date
  • Incorrect items: product delivered does not match what was ordered

Return requests must be raised within the following timeframes:

  • Dairy products and Fruits & Vegetables: within 24 hours of delivery
  • All other products: within 3 days of delivery

Products not falling under the above categories are non-returnable. To initiate a return, please contact our support team with your order details and supporting images.

8. Offers, Cashback & Referrals

Allkirana may, from time to time, offer promotional discounts, cashback incentives, and referral benefits. Please note:

  • All offers are optional and at our sole discretion. They may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice.
  • Cashback rewards are subject to fulfilment of stated conditions and may be reversed if those conditions are not met.
  • A maximum of 15 referrals are permitted per user account.
  • Only one promotional offer is applicable per delivery address.
  • Any misuse of referral codes or promotional offers will result in disqualification and may lead to account suspension.

9. User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct

As a user of the Allkirana platform, you agree to use the platform lawfully and in good faith. You must not:

  • Use automated tools such as bots, crawlers, or scrapers to access platform content
  • Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the platform without authorisation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to platform systems or user data
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions, identity misrepresentation, or payment manipulation
  • Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable Indian or international law

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts found in violation of these obligations, without notice or liability.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Allkirana platform — including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphic designs, user interface elements, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of the Company or its licensors, protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without express written permission from the Company.

11. Communications Consent

By creating an account on Allkirana, you consent to receiving service-related and promotional communications via:

  • Phone calls
  • SMS
  • Email
  • WhatsApp notifications

You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by updating your preferences in the platform settings or by contacting our support team. Transactional communications (e.g., order confirmations, delivery alerts) cannot be opted out of, as they are essential to service delivery.

12. Auto-Debit (NACH Mandate)

Where you have authorised an auto-debit mandate (NACH) for wallet recharges or subscription payments:

  • Transactions will be processed in accordance with the rules of your bank and the National Automated Clearing House (NACH).
  • It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available and to revoke mandates in advance if you wish to discontinue.
  • The Company is not liable for any failures, delays, or issues arising from bank-side processing errors.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform
  • Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
  • Transaction failures or delays resulting from user error or third-party failures
  • Disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Our aggregate liability to you in connection with any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the value of the products purchased in the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or legal expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the platform
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law

15. Data Protection & Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. All personal data collected through the platform is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers solely for the purpose of order processing and delivery. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

16. Disclaimers

The Company is not responsible for:

  • Payment failures arising from incorrect payment details entered by the user
  • Minor variations between product images displayed on the platform and actual products
  • Disruptions to service caused by third-party failures, internet outages, or force majeure events

Medical Disclaimer: Allkirana is a grocery delivery platform and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our services must not be relied upon in emergency or medical situations. Please contact emergency services for urgent medical needs.

17. Modifications to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the platform with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the platform after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Grievance Redressal

We are committed to resolving your concerns promptly. If you have a complaint or grievance related to the platform or our services, please reach out to our designated Grievance Officer:

Our grievance redressal process is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies published on the platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company with respect to your use of the Allkirana platform. They supersede all prior understandings, communications, or agreements on the same subject matter.
